He is the principal investigator of the externally-funded STEM: Integrated Teaching Project . One outcome of his project is the earlySTEM program , consisting of 35 books used by over 50,000 students and their teachers each year. Dr. Corlu is the cofounder of LabStar TM -an innovative low-cost device for data logging and analysis. Doktorasını tamamladığı Texas A&M Aggie STEM Center bünyesinde öğretmen eğitimi programları geliştirmiş ve yönetmiştir. Ç orlu’nun 2022 Aral ı k ayı itibari ile Google h -index’i 17’tir. STEM-FeTeMM eğitimi, matematik öğretmen eğitimi, veya uluslararası okullar üzerine yoğunlaşmış 50’nin üzerinde makale ve kitap bölümü yayımlamıştır.Türk eğitimine özgün katkıları arasında FeTeMM Eğitimine ve hesaplamalı düşünmeye ismini veren, bu konseptleri kavramlaştıran ve Türkiye’ye özgü pedagojik bir yaklaşım olarak yorumlanmasını sağlayan ilk doktora tezi , ilk akademik makale , ilk kitap , ve ilk dış destekli öğretm en eğitimi projesi; lkokul seviyesi için ismini verdiği ve kavramlaştırdığı erkenSTEM eğitimi bünyesinde üretilen ve farklı dillere çevrilen editörlüğünü üstlendiği 35 kitap; ortak mucidi olduğu ve patent başvurusu yapılmış özgün veri toplama ve analizi aygıtı LabStarTM; kurulucuğunu yaptığı ve son üç senedir aralıksız yayınlanan öğretmenlere yönelik ve doktora tezlerinin tanıtıldığı iki ayrı radyo programı öne çıkmaktadır.
